The College of Computer Science and Information Technology conducted a practical exercise to test the readiness of its civil defense systems in its buildings, as part of its public safety procedures and approved emergency plans.
The exercise included activating early warning systems, testing fire extinguishers and evacuation procedures, and training faculty and students on proper emergency response procedures to ensure rapid response and minimize potential risks.
The event aimed to verify the efficiency and functionality of the safety systems, raise awareness among faculty and staff about the importance of adhering to civil defense guidelines, and promote a culture of prevention and safety on campus.
The Dean's Office emphasized its ongoing commitment to providing a safe learning environment through regular inspections and practical exercises that enhance preparedness for any emergency.
