University of Basrah Organizes an Awareness Visit to Schools on the Importance of Early Breast Cancer Screening

The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a field visit to schools to raise health awareness about the importance of early breast cancer screening.
The visit aims to enhance health literacy among students and teaching staff, highlighting the importance of prevention and early detection and their role in reducing the spread of the disease.
The visit, conducted by Ms. Amani Hussein, Head of the College's Media Department, and attended by Mr. Ali Mahdi, Student Activities Department staff and students from the Intelligent Medical Systems Department, included a number of awareness and educational activities. These activities included a scientific lecture, the distribution of awareness-raising publications and gifts, and guidance aimed at enhancing students' health and psychological awareness.
This visit is part of the university's community activities to enhance the role of its students in spreading health awareness and instilling a culture of volunteering and community service.
