Director of Ibn Sina Center visits the College of Computer Science and Information Technology and discusses enhancing joint cooperation

  Asst. Prof. Dr. Adi Bashir Issa, Director of Ibn Sina Center at University of Basrah, visited the office of the Scientific Asst of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Abbas Hanoun Al-Asadi. The meeting discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two parties in the fields of technological progress and academic development. During the meeting, it was agreed to organize a number of seminars and lectures aimed at keeping pace with the latest technological developments in areas of common interest. Discussions also took place regarding holding a comprehensive training course targeting all employees in the college, with the aim of developing their skills in using some modern and important applications that contribute to improving administrative and academic work. In a qualitative step, it was agreed to provide the College of Computer Science and Information Technology with some licensed software, making it the first college to adopt this type of advanced software. This comes within the framework of efforts to enhance the digital infrastructure of the college and raise the level of educational and research services provided to students and professors.  For his part, Prof. Abbas Hanoun Al-Asadi expressed his thanks and gratitude for this fruitful partnership with the Ibn Sina Center, stressing that these steps will contribute significantly to achieving the college's strategic goals and will enhance its pioneering role in providing high-quality education in line with the requirements of the era. In turn, Dr. Adi Bashir Issa stressed the Ibn Sina Center's keenness to support academic institutions and cooperate with them to achieve sustainable development in the educational and technological sector, stressing the importance of investing in modern technologies in developing the educational process.
