Two students from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah, Ibrar Saad Khalaf and Aya Saleh Ghadhban, participated in the Iraqi Creativity Festival hosted by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University with wide participation from universities and companies. The participation included presenting a firefighting robot project, through which the college achieved seventh place among 150 participants representing 12 Iraqi universities, amid strong competition to present the best joint projects and productions. The festival aims to showcase innovations and distinguished projects and enhance communication between academic institutions and industrial sectors, which contributes to developing the innovation environment in Iraq.
