A seminar was held at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology entitled "Human Resources Obstacles and Problems at the University: Challenges and Solutions"

The Division of Quality and University Performance at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah, in cooperation with  University of Basrah Presidency and the Continuing Education Unit, held a seminar entitled "Human Resources Obstacles and Problems at the University: Challenges and Solutions for Human Resources Managers and Employees."
The seminar aimed to discuss the problems and challenges facing human resources departments, whether at the planning, implementation, or communication levels within the institution itself. It also aimed to analyze the causes of these obstacles, whether organizational, human, or administrative, and to attempt to arrive at practical solutions and implementable proposals that help improve the performance of employees in this field.
The seminar, delivered by Asst. Prof.Dr. Arafat Nasser Jassim, Head of the Quality Division at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, and the Directors of the Recruitment and Staffing Division and the Retirement Division at University of Basrah Presidency, Mr. Ahmed Zaid Khalaf and Mr. Musab Ayad Muhammad, discussed methods for developing the skills of human resources managers and employees by presenting real-life models and experiences and encouraging the exchange of opinions and experiences among participants.  In addition, it promotes a culture of administrative quality and develops institutional performance within the university, contributing to the creation of a more organized and efficient work environment capable of keeping pace with modern developments in human resources management.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Hisham Kadhum Hashim, thanked the lecturers and presented them with a letter of thanks and appreciation for their distinguished efforts in organizing the seminar.
