The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at  University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture on improving (Yolo version 8) for accurate detection of objects in the underwater environment. The lecture aims to be able to detect objects underwater. Deep learning methods, especially convolutional networks, have improved the ability to detect objects underwater. The lecture, presented by the student "Shaima Khader Hussein", included the discovery of the Yolo (Yolo Look Only Once) network as a revolutionary tool in computer vision. Thanks to its ability to process images and videos quickly and accurately, Yolo is an ideal choice for detecting objects underwater, which contributes to improving efficiency and performance in this field.
