The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture on methods of tuning hyperparameters in machine learning. The lecture aims to explore common methods of tuning hyperparameters, including grid search, random search, Bayesian optimization, and evolutionary algorithms. Each method was discussed in some detail, focusing on the strengths, limitations, and practical applications of each. The lecture, presented by the student "Nabaa Mohammed Abdul Karim", included a brief presentation of the proposed fuzzy swarm optimization approach to achieve the above-mentioned goal. By integrating the collective intelligence of swarm-based algorithms with the uncertainty handling capabilities of fuzzy logic.
