The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah, on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of its founding, organized a book fair that included the display of various types of scientific, literary, and historical books, in addition to short stories and various magazines, and through it attracted its students, employees, and professors, as they expressed their  About their inclinations for existing types of books, renewing their desire for external reading, and increasing their scientific and literary knowledge of them.  The exhibition, which was opened by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Asaad Abdul Karim Al-Hajjaj, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Maitham Abu Al-Hail Shahid, and a group of college professors, was held in the college building and continued for a week with the participation of an external library.
