Assistant Professor Dr. Salma Abdel-Baqi Mahmoud, teaching at University of Basrah - College of Computer Science and Information Technology - Department of Medical Systems, obtained a seat in the first edition of the Encyclopedia of the Book for University Women issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research - Al-Kitab University, for obtaining first place in the specializations of artificial intelligence in...  Iraq, where the encyclopedia included 13 academics from various Iraqi universities with various scientific and humanitarian specializations, and they were honored during a ceremony held at Al-Kitab University in Kirkuk Governorate in the presence of Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, President of Nineveh University, representing His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Iyad Al-Barzanji, President of Al-Kitab University, and a number of university professors.  This pioneering project, which received the support and encouragement of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, comes from the belief in the capabilities of university women and their unlimited contribution to research, teaching, invention and management. The ceremony included honoring 13 winners from various scientific and humanitarian specializations at the level of Iraqi universities.
