The President of University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim Al-Asadi, met with an elite group of professors from the Iranian Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, who were hosted by  university’s colleges within the visiting professor program, one of the terms of the memorandum of understanding concluded between the two universities, in a meeting of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, which was held in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, in the presence of the Director of the Department.  Missions and International Relations, Dr. Majid Ali Musa, the deans of the faculties of computer science, science, and engineering, the assistant professors, some of the department heads in the present faculties, and representatives of international relations. The visitors from Ferdowsi University praised the warm meeting, the generous hospitality, and the attention from University of Basrah, and focused on some of the matters that are supposed to be present in  The colleges of University of Basrah compared to their university in order to keep pace with the development taking place in the corresponding international universities. The visitors reviewed a documentary film about their university, explaining their colleges, research centers, entertainment places, and the applied outcomes of their students in manufacturing cars, robots, agricultural crops, and urban structures, and how they qualified for the labor market. Al-Asadi praised their role in giving scientific lectures in  College departments and discussions that took place with college professors to benefit from their experiences in developing scientific and academic plans, exchanging knowledge and useful information, and reaching the foundations and links for exchanging scientific experiences between the two parties.
