Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Imad S. Alshawi, received in his office Mr. Shakib Al-Khazali, Public Relations Officer in the parliament, and Mrs. Najat Qusay Abdel Amir, the official of the National Department for Iraqi Women in the parliament and Women’s Affairs, on a visit.  Especially for the college and aimed to enhance cooperation between universities and women’s affairs units and the necessity of strengthening their role in society and keeping pace with technological development. During the meeting, ways to motivate female students and women to keep pace with development were discussed and interest was given to them assuming administrative positions to prove their leadership role in various aspects of society and provide educational opportunities and appropriate training and development courses for them.
