in implementation of the initiative launched by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in order to create a green environment in Iraqi universities and in line with the principle of teamwork and cooperation between colleges and centers that the presidency of University of Basrah urges.  The Agricultural Unit in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, under the direct supervision of  Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Imad S. Alshawi, and in cooperation with the College of Agriculture, represented by its Dean, Asst .Prof. Dr. Raghdan Hashem Mohsen, today, Saturday 9/3/2024, by preparing green spaces and planting fruitful and perennial trees inside and outside the College from  The adjacent and opposite areas. The Services and Maintenance Division also organized cleaning and maintenance work for all the college’s ports as well as the areas adjacent to it.  The Dean of the College extended his sincere thanks and gratitude for the facilities provided by the Dean of the College of Agriculture to complete this campaign and the employees who participated in its completion. They are ready and awaiting other initiatives to complete the campaign by the college’s teaching and student staff.
