The Student Activities Unit in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at  University of Basrah organized a scientific trip to the General Company for Iraqi Ports in Basrah for college students from the Computer Systems Department. The visit aimed to introduce the students and inform them of the areas of application of their specialization.  In various departments of the state, including the Department of Public Ports in Basrah, where the college students, accompanied by the professors accompanying them, moved to the departments of the department, including the Department of Computers, Quality, Shipping and Unloading, and the rest of the departments and other units. They were briefed on the areas of application of computers in them, the electronic systems used to facilitate the work of these departments, and the mechanism used for exchanging information among them.
