The members of the Advisory Office for Computers and Informatics held a meeting headed by the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at  University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Imad S. Alshawi.  The meeting discussed the office's plans and work with the aim of revitalizing academic activities and enhancing educational offerings and workshops.  During the meeting, the focus was on organizing training courses and workshops aimed at enhancing the technical skills of college students and developing their capabilities in various fields.  The timetables for these events were also discussed and arranged, and the topics and themes that would be covered during them were determined.  This meeting comes within the framework of the college’s efforts to provide a fruitful educational environment, enhance interaction between students and faculty, and develop students’ skills to be distinguished in the competitive labor market.  The advisory office's efforts reflect the college's commitment to improving the quality of education and training and developing human resources in the fields of information technology.
