To celebrate the birth of al aqmar alHashemite , the Student Activities Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah and  University Students Association, in cooperation with the Hour al-Rida Foundation, organized a religious forum that included a program of religious awareness lectures, songs and poems sung with love for Ahl al-Bayt and the pure Imams, where it presented  His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Redha Al-Maash gave a religious lecture. The forum, which was held in the graduate studies hall at the college, was also attended by a group of professors, employees, and students of the college. At the end of the forum, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Imad S. Alshawi, gave his thanks and appreciation to His Eminence the Sheikh, those present with him, and the organizers of the forum.
