The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology,Prof. Dr. Imad S. Alshawi, participated in the memorial festival organized by the College of Physical Education and Sports at  University of Basrah to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of the heroic Victory leaders, which was attended on behalf of the President of  University by the Assistant President of  University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Hussein Rashk, and a member of the House of Representatives.  On behalf of Basrah Governorate, Mr. Alaa Al-Haidari and the elected member of the Governorate Council,Prof. Nofal Al-Mansouri, and many officials and members of the movements and offices of Islamic parties and national and governmental figures. The festival included the presentation of documentaries about the participation of professors of the College of Physical Education in meeting the holy period and the jihadi history of the leaders, in addition to reciting some poetic poems  by the college students who mourned the heroic leaders of victory
