The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a ceremony on the occasion of our Iraqi people’s celebrations of the Great Victory Day over the remnants of terrorism. The celebration was banned by Dr. Majid Ali Musa, Director of the Department of Cultural Relations at  University of Basrah, the members of the Colleges Council, and the teaching, administrative, and student staff in the college. The Dean of the College recalled the heroics.  Our valiant forces of all types to fight the enemy and achieve victory and praised the pure blood that our heroic martyrs sacrificed for the name of Iraq, its land and its people through his speech in which he opened the ceremony after reading the verses of the Holy Quran,  the national anthem was played and  Surah Al-Fatihah was read for the souls of the righteous martyrs. The ceremony included  reading poems that praised the heroism of our heroic forces, honored the top the evening the morning students's studies in the college, and distributed certificates of thanks and appreciation to the organizing committee and volunteers who participated in the central graduation ceremony held by  University of Basrah.
