The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Basra University organized a workshop on how to design an interactive lecture using modern tools and technologies on the FCC platform.

The workshop presented by the teacher, Mustafa Musa Qasim, included how to design an interactive lecture using modern tools to ensure the student’s interaction with the lecture, as the video lectures are the most understandable and acceptable to the student from the written lectures.

The workshop showed that developing the skills of the university professor in giving lectures has a clear impact on the target audience, apart from the rote lectures.

The workshop aimed to clarify a modern skill set based on the principle of developing awareness, not imposing an opinion. Planning skills were covered, preparation, choosing a presentation style, identifying how to present text and speech, how to present the "road map" to students, using charts and tables, getting to know how Motivating and engaging students in the lecture, and finally the method of recording and controlling the lecture.
