The College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized a workshop on international arbitration in electronic transactions, with the participation of a number of researchers and specialists.
The workshop included a lecture presented by Dr. Ramez Mahdi Mahmoud Ashour, in which he dealt with the concept of international arbitration and its benefits, what are the advantages and disadvantages of electronic arbitration and what are its procedures.
The workshop discussed the concept of international arbitration and the difference between it and traditional arbitration, what are the motives for using electronic arbitration, and what electronic arbitration has reached in our Arab countries than in foreign countries
The workshop indicated that it aims to keep abreast of developments in the computer and technological field in the field of arbitration as an international means to settle disputes that may arise from electronic contracts, and the importance of Arab countries ’keenness to keep pace with these developments and enact legislation and laws that meet this development.
