The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Professor Dr. Imad Shaalan Al-Shawi, visited the Director of the Information and Communications Technology Center, Professor Kian Abdulaziz Al-Sibahi, and the Director of the Central Bank of Iraq, Basra Branch, Dr. Qasim Rahaif Al-Fahd, where they met with the technical staff at the bank and the two parties discussed many of the problems facing the sector.  Banking in Iraq and the necessity of finding technical ways to solve it and using artificial intelligence techniques in analyzing the movement of funds and forecasting market fluctuations and controlling them. The two sides also reviewed the systems used and designed by the cadres of both parties and developed a joint work plan and a program of workshops, seminars and work teams to integrate work between the university and various state institutions.
