Under the auspices of the respected President of the University of Basra, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Salma Abdul-Baqi Mahmoud, the unit of student activities in the college organized a carnival on the occasion of the university's celebrations of its 56th anniversary. The carnival was inaugurated by Dr. Ali Hamdhi, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, on behalf of the University President, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ramzi, the Head of the Media and Public Relations Department at the university, Dr. Talal, which included sports competitions, a drawing exhibition, and a poetry festival, in which the students of the college participated in the presence of the dean of the college, the college council, and a group of its teachers.
