On the the anniversary of the martyrs of Iraq and the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), the College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized on Wednesday 4/1/2023 and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College, Dr. Salma Abdul-Baqi Mahmoud, a mourning stand to read Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the righteous martyrs through entering the classrooms and the participation of its students and teachers in reading Surat Al-Fatihah due to bad weather conditions and the participation of all students of the college and its teaching and technical staff, where the Dean of the College recalled those heroic stances, beginning with the Almighty’s saying, “And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.” The heroic stances of our righteous martyrs in preserving and defending Iraq and its sanctities from the defilement of everyone who tries to touch its land and how they sacrificed their blood in order for us to live a good life.
