The College of Computer Science and Information Technology, represented by the respected Dean of the College, Dr. Salma Abdel-Baqi Mahmoud, assistants, heads of departments and a number of college professors and students, participated in the scientific symposium that was held at the Arabian Gulf Academy for Maritime Studies under the auspices of the respected Commander of the Naval Force, Lieutenant-General (Ahmed Jassim Maarij) Under the supervision of the President of the Academy, Major General Hisham Taher Hammadi, the esteemed, and in cooperation with the University of Basra - College of Computer Science and Information Technology, on (Cyber ​​War), where the symposium dealt with several axes. The researcher Ahmed Safa, on behalf of the Academy, gave a lecture on cyber warfare. In the third axis, the Captain, the Master Engineer, Ahmed Ismail, on behalf of the Academy, gave a lecture on electronic engagement.
The Academy also participated in the opening of an exhibition of plastic arts and handicrafts, which was organized by the Academy.
