The competitive entrance exam for postgraduate studies (Master's and PhD) for the 2026-2027 academic year has begun at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Basrah, in the Departments of Computer Science and Computer Information Systems.

The Dean of the College, Prof.Dr. Hisham Kadhum Hashim, accompanied by the Vice Deans and Heads of Academic Departments, inspected the examination halls to observe the examination process and ensure that all necessary arrangements were in place for its smooth conduct, in accordance with the approved ministerial instructions and regulations.

The examination was well-organized by the examination committees, who worked to create a suitable environment for the applicants, ensuring that the exam was conducted in a conducive academic setting, thus upholding the principles of transparency and equal opportunity for all candidates.
