Under the direct supervision of the Dean, Professor Dr. Hisham Kadhum Hashim, the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a series of diverse events and activities to commemorate the university's 62nd anniversary.

The events included software exhibitions, a chess tournament, an art exhibition, a cultural competition, and a blood typing activity, with wide participation from faculty, staff, and students.
