Following the directives of the President of University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, the College of Computer Science and Information Technology continues to implement its comprehensive plan to maintain and upgrade its infrastructure. This aligns with the demands of scientific and technological advancement and reflects the college's ongoing commitment to enhancing the educational environment and providing optimal support for the academic process.
The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hisham Kadhum Hashim, conducted a field visit to inspect the ongoing renovation and maintenance work, which included several classrooms and scientific laboratories. This work was completed according to modern technical standards aimed at improving the quality of the educational environment, enhancing its readiness to receive students, and meeting the needs of faculty members.
During his inspection, the Dean emphasized the importance of continuing development and modernization plans, stressing the necessity of maintaining a high standard of infrastructure, given its fundamental role in supporting the quality of higher education and fostering a stimulating learning environment conducive to creativity and innovation.
He also noted that these efforts are part of the college's vision to keep pace with the rapid developments in computer science and information technology by providing a comprehensive learning environment that combines theoretical and practical aspects.
