The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a visit to a nursing home on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and Mother's Day.

This initiative aims to strengthen the spirit of social solidarity and instill humanitarian values ​​within the academic community by connecting with this important segment of society and providing them with moral and psychological support. This reflects the social role of educational institutions alongside their academic mission.

The visit included friendly conversations with the residents and bringing joy to their lives on these blessed occasions, in appreciation of their significant contributions and their standing in society, especially during the celebration of Mother's Day, which embodies the meanings of loyalty and appreciation for mothers.

The Dean of the College emphasized its commitment to holding such humanitarian activities that contribute to building bridges of communication with various segments of society and enhance ethical values ​​among students and staff, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support initiatives with a humanitarian dimension and community service.
