The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Hisham Kadhum Hashim, held a meeting with the faculty members of the Department of Computer Information Systems, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, to discuss several academic and administrative matters related to the department's work.

During the meeting, the current state of the educational process in the department was reviewed, and the progress of teaching was monitored. Scientific and research plans and mechanisms for their development were also discussed, with the aim of raising the academic level and improving the quality of education.

During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the necessity for all faculty members and students to register on the learning program platform and activate their accounts to effectively contribute to the diversity of teaching methods. He also stressed the importance of concerted efforts between faculty and the college administration to support the academic process and provide the best educational services to students, emphasizing the need to work as a unified team to achieve the college's academic goals.

The meeting also included the presentation of several proposals and ideas aimed at developing the academic and administrative work in the department and raising the level of performance.
