A master's thesis at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Basrah, was titled “Optimized QoS-Based Mobile Sink Path Planning Strategy in Wireless Sensor Networks.”
The thesis, submitted by student Mujtaba Jassim Mohammed, aimed to develop an intelligent strategy for mobile station path planning in wireless sensor networks. This strategy relied on the Fuzzy C-Means algorithm and fuzzy inference, with the goal of improving service quality, reducing power consumption, and addressing power gaps.
The thesis concluded that the proposed approach contributed to extending network lifespan, reducing the number of dead nodes, and achieving a better balance in power consumption.
