The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah received a scientific delegation from Shatt Al-Arab Private University, headed by Prof.Dr. Taher Mohsen Mansour, Dean of the College of Computer Science at University of Basrah, and his accompanying delegation. This visit came within the framework of discussing the ongoing preparations for conducting the joint examination between the computer science departments of the two colleges, based on the mechanisms of scientific cooperation and the terms of the academic twinning agreement between them.
They were received by Prof. Dr. Hisham Kadhum Hashim, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah. The meeting included an in-depth discussion of the technical and administrative aspects related to organizing the examination, the mechanisms for formulating questions, and adopting evaluation criteria in accordance with ministerial directives, in order to ensure equal opportunities and adherence to scientific accuracy and objectivity among students.
Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening the bonds of joint cooperation, which contributes to raising the academic level and developing the quality of the educational process, while agreeing on a well-defined timetable and a clear implementation plan for conducting the joint examination in the coming period.
