University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Holy Quran House at the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine\ Basrah, held a Quranic competition at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology to celebrate World Quran Day. A number of university students participated.
The competition aimed to strengthen students' connection to the Holy Quran and promote Quranic culture, as well as highlight the moral and spiritual values contained within the Holy Book. It also encouraged young people to engage positively with religious occasions.
The competition included various segments, such as recitation and memorization, in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere that reflected the great importance the university places on this event. This initiative underscores the university's commitment to supporting religious and cultural activities that contribute to the intellectual and spiritual development of its students.
