Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof.Dr. Hisham Kadhum Hashim, the Head of Student Activities at the College, Dr. Muayyad Al-Khafaji, in cooperation with the College of Education for Humanities, organized a chess tournament to celebrate the anniversary of the valiant Iraqi Army.

The tournament saw the participation of a number of students in a competitive and sporting atmosphere that reflected discipline and cooperation. It also underscored the importance of sports and intellectual activities in developing students' abilities and strengthening communication between the university's colleges.

This tournament is part of the student activities that the college is keen to organize to support student talent, emphasize pride in national occasions, and instill positive values ​​in students.
