The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit and the Continuing Education Unit, organized an awareness workshop entitled “Maintaining Social Peace: A Historical Study in Combating Extremist Ideologies.”
The workshop included a lecture presented by Dr. Hassan Malih Nasser, along with academic presentations by students Zainab Tawfiq Jabbar and Masrah Sarmad Sami. The workshop highlighted the historical roots of extremist ideologies and ways to address them, as well as the importance of promoting the values of coexistence and social peace within educational institutions.
The workshop aimed to spread intellectual awareness and promote a culture of moderation, contributing to building a safe and cohesive university environment.
