The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at  University of Basrah organized a seminar on drugs and psychotropic substances and their impact on the university community.

The seminar aimed to raise awareness to reduce their spread within the university community. The seminar, presented by Lecturer Sajjad Sabah Idham, highlighted the serious behavioral, health, and legal consequences of drug use, in addition to discussing preventative measures and the role of educational institutions in raising awareness of their dangers.
