Under the patronage of the President of University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Hisham Kadhum, and in cooperation with the Department of Computer Information Systems, the College's Human Rights Unit organized an awareness lecture entitled "Human Rights in Modern University Legislation."

The lecture, delivered by the Head of the College's Human Rights Unit, Dr. Hassan Malih Nasser, aimed to introduce the most important legal and humanitarian principles that guarantee respect for academic and student rights within the university environment.

The lecture also highlighted the role of modern legislation in promoting justice and equality and ensuring a safe learning environment characterized by mutual respect.
