Under the patronage of the President of University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad, and the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hisham Kadhum, the Department of Computer Information Systems at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology held a book fair in cooperation with the Student Activities, Educational Guidance, and Continuing Education Unit.

The fair aimed to promote a culture of reading, enhance students' scientific and intellectual awareness, and encourage them to continuously consult academic resources and books that contribute to developing their research and scientific skills.

The fair was supervised by Dr. Arafat Nasser Jassim, Head of the Quality Assurance Division, and included the participation of a group of students and faculty members, as well as the attendance of a number of those interested in academic and cultural affairs.
