The Career Development and Follow-up Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Basrah, under the supervision of the Career Development and Follow-up Center and in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit, organized a workshop entitled “The Importance of English in Scientific Development.”

The workshop aimed to highlight the close relationship between the English language and modern science, and to encourage students to develop their language skills in line with the demands of the job market and scientific research.

The workshop, presented by Razan Osama, a second-year student in the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, addressed the importance of mastering English in keeping pace with scientific and technological advancements, and its role in enhancing students' academic and research skills.
