The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a workshop entitled "Academic Evaluation and Classification Tools," attended by a number of faculty members and college staff.
The workshop aimed to highlight the approved mechanisms and standards for academic classification, and to introduce the most important evaluation tools used to measure the academic and research performance of faculty members and educational institutions. It also discussed ways to improve academic research outputs in line with quality and academic accreditation standards.
The workshop included a detailed presentation of the most important academic indicators used by universities in local and international rankings, and how to employ modern evaluation tools to improve institutional and academic performance. The workshop featured lecturers Dr. Abbas Hanoun Hassan and Dr. Alia Jaber Jalil.
