Under the patronage of the President of University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Hisham Kadhum Hashim, the college opened its private library as a place that combines knowledge and relaxation, and a recreational and cultural space that aims to provide a comfortable environment for students that combines knowledge and creativity. This opening is part of a series of activities and initiatives overseen by the college's dean to develop the college's environment and make it more distinctive and convenient for its students.
