A master's thesis at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah was titled "Enhancing Intellectual Property Management Using Blockchain Technology and Smart Contracts."
The study, presented by student Sajjad Abdul Karim Mohsen, aimed to design an integrated technical framework to protect digital assets and intellectual property rights in electronic content by combining blockchain, encryption, and deep learning technologies.
The thesis included the development of a multi-layered intelligent system that uses digital watermarks using the AES algorithm with LSB, a ResNet-50-based similarity verification (RISS) model, and integration with the FAISS library to accelerate infringement detection. It also included the creation of smart contracts on the Ethereum network to automate rights management.
