The Head of the Department of Cybersecurity at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at  University of Basrah, Dr. Muslim Mohsen Khudair, held a meeting with the teaching staff of the department, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hisham Kadhum Hashim, after assuming the duties of the head of the department.
During the meeting, they discussed the scientific and administrative plans of the department and ways to develop academic performance in line with the requirements of the next stage in the fields of cybersecurity and digital transformation.
In his speech, Dr. Muslim stressed the importance of unifying efforts and activating the spirit of cooperation among teachers, and working to raise the level of students scientifically and practically by adopting modern teaching methods and encouraging applied scientific research.
For his part, the Dean of the College praised the role of the department and its distinguished staff, stressing the deanship's full support for the department's march and future plans aimed at enhancing its scientific status within the college and the university.
