The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof.Dr. Hisham Kadhum Hashim, participated in the scientific discussion workshop held under the title: "The Academic Plan for the Academic Year 2025-2026 and the Roadmap for Academic Development in the College of Engineering." The workshop was held under the patronage and guidance of the President of  University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the Assistant President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Khazal Al-Kaabi.

The workshop aimed to review previous research and scientific performance and operational plans, update future plans to align with international ranking requirements, and develop research and scientific tracks at  University of Basra hfor the 2025-2026 academic year.
