The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture titled "Designing and Implementing a Cloud-Based Security Framework Using Blockchain for Internet of Things Services"
The lecture aims to provide higher levels of security compared to traditional systems, while maintaining efficient performance and practical applicability in real-world scenarios. The work recommends using this framework as an effective solution for securing banking services related to the Internet of Things.
The lecture, delivered by Sara Muhammad Younis, a graduate student in the Department of Computer Information Systems, included the design and implementation of a cloud-based security framework using blockchain technology for Internet of Things services, with a focus on automated teller machines (ATMs). The lecture reviewed the importance of integrating IoT technologies into ATM systems to improve efficiency and security through real-time data monitoring and analysis. The role of blockchain was also highlighted as an innovative solution to address the security issues arising from centralized systems, thanks to its decentralized, transparent, and immutable nature.
