The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture on improving access control to key management based on blockchain technology for cryptocurrencies.
The lecture aimed to highlight the need to develop effective and secure key management systems to protect digital assets from theft, loss, and cyberattacks. Private keys (wallet recovery passwords) are an essential element of cryptocurrency security, as any breach could result in significant losses for users.
The lecture, delivered by Samah Mahmoud Ahmed, a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science, included a proposal for a key management system using modern encryption techniques that improve security and provide secure and robust storage for the private key and key borrowing passwords.
