The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a lecture titled "Predicting Laryngeal Cancer Using Machine Learning Techniques"
The lecture aims to open new horizons for healthcare systems, as machine learning uses various statistical techniques and advanced algorithms to more accurately predict outcomes from healthcare data.
The lecture, delivered by Zahraa Mahmoud Abbas, a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science, included the use of various types of algorithms, such as supervised, unsupervised, and boosting. These techniques have shown promising potential in the field of medicine as a tool to assist doctors in classifying the risk of various types of cancer, including laryngeal cancer.
