A master's thesis examines "Detecting human bone fractures using artificial intelligence" at University of Basrah

A master's thesis at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah explored the detection of human bone fractures using artificial intelligence. The thesis, presented by Huda Tahseen Ali, a student in the Department of Computer Science, aims to develop an artificial intelligence model based on deep neural networks (CNNs) to detect and classify bone fractures using X-ray images. The VGG16 and VGG19 models, as well as a custom model, were implemented and compared in terms of accuracy and performance. The thesis included achieving high accuracy for the proposed models in detection and classification, enhancing their potential for use in practical medical applications.
