The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture entitled Attacks in Wireless Sensor Networks. The lecture aims to present the general concept of wireless sensor networks and the most important areas of their applications, in addition to their most important advantages and disadvantages. The lecture, presented by the lecturer in the Department of Computer Information Systems, " Lecturer Dr. Huda Abdul Rahim Ahmed", included knowing that wireless networks are more exposed than wired networks to external attacks that aim specifically to interrupt service, and most of these attacks are at the network layer level, as they can be in other layers such as the physical layer, the connection layer, and the transport layer. The types of these attacks were addressed for each layer and how to appropriate defenses for each attack.
