Basrah University has been selected as a technical supporter of the seventh edition of the conference: The 7th Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing Conference (AICCC 2024), Kyoto, Japan, 14-16 December, 2024.The conference will be held in Kyoto, Japan, from December 14 to 16, 2024, and will cover the fields of artificial intelligence and cloud computing. This selection came as a result of the selection of Dr. Maytham Alabbas, Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies and Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Basrah University, as a member of the technical committee (TC) of the conference for the second time in a row. As a TC member, Dr. Alabbas will be responsible for evaluating research papers in his area of expertise, which is artificial intelligence. The accepted and registered papers will be published in the conference proceedings and indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus, and Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI Web of Science).
The selection of Basrah University and Dr. Alabbas for the AICCC2024 is a significant achievement for both the university and the Iraqi research community. It is a recognition of the high quality of research being conducted at Basrah University and of the university's commitment to promoting international collaboration in research.
