The College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Department of Computer at  University of Basrah, organized a workshop on “Computing and Information Security,” in which Prof. Ammar Hanoun, the Cyber   Security and Informatics Advisor, lectured remotely. The workshop covered general introductory topics about computing and the most important programs and applications currently available to detect intrusions that could occur.  In public or private service departments, the lecturer expressed his serious readiness to open the horizons of cooperation in order to provide the professors and students of  University of Basrah with what is new and advanced in the field of informatics.
