Under the auspices of Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the honorable President of the University of Basra, and under the supervision of Dr. Imad Shaalan Al-Shawi, the honorable Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Mr. Manadhar Muslim Ashour, a master's degree student in the Department of Computer Information Systems, delivered a scientific lecture titled "Proposed Security Framework for Blockchain to Secure Government Institutions." This lecture took place on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Graduate Studies Hall within the college.The aim of this lecture was to implement blockchain technology in the government sector to enhance the security of sensitive and important data. Security tests were conducted on the data, demonstrating its effectiveness. It's worth mentioning that this research is part of Mr. Ashour's master's degree thesis in Computer Information Systems.
